DLM Operation. The DLM works by measuring the dynamic force signal generated by the piezoelectric transducers
mounted either on the press frame or conrods. This signal is checked again a maximum and minimum
load value and should it fall outside these limits a fault is detected and the press stopped. There is a fixed
Press Capacity limit that gives protection to the press event when the DLM unit is in bypass mode.
TEACH Mode. This is used to set the min and max limits using the current tool load. Just press the Teach button
and start the press running, after a set number of strokes the DLM sets the min and max load limits
automatically ! LED Display. Soft-Start Function. This function automatically opens-up the min and max limits when the press stops so on re-starting the limits are then gradually closed back to their original values. This allows tighter limit setting when the press is running giving better press protection.
Bypass Input. This can be used to turn off the min and max limits while tool setting for example. The Press
Capacity Limit is still checked though. DLM Overload Fault Display. DLM Teach Mode Display.
